parts can be ordered separately for all
styles, including O-rings and retainers.

• Item 2050 Grease Free Stirrer Bearing, All Teflon
This solid PTFE stirrer bearing with a taper used with a precision ground-stirring shaft is the perfect choice for moderate vacuum conditions. The bearing consists of a standard taper PTFE body, PTFE compression cap, PTFE insert bushing. The UHMW nut above the Teflon taper inner joint loosens to assure quick and easy removal. The threaded Teflon insert provides for fine adjustments of stirring rod tension. Supplied with a #2075-24 o-ring insert.

• Item 2075 Stirrer Bearing, PTFE, 10mm Grease Free Teflon Bearing that is designed for moderate vacuum pressures up to
10-6. Bearing consists of a threaded glass adapter with a standard taper inner joint, a
body bushing with a compression cap and locking nut and a precision Teflon inner bearing. The saddle o-ring provides only glass and Teflon contact with the reaction, while allowing for a vacuum tight seal. The design of the bearing allows replacement of the Teflon inner bearing and/or the Teflon saddle O-ring at a fraction of the total unit cost. For use with polished 10mm stirrer shafts or our line of Teflon sheathed stainless steel core shafts.

2075 Stirrer Assembly 10mm, PTFE
SciMac offers our PTFE stirrer Bearing separately. The assembly includes a body, top screw, washer, nut, saddle O-ring, and an inner bearing. It can be attached to your equipment by welding on the threaded glass stud or use one of our threaded glass joints.
• Item 2095 Stirrer Bearing, PTFE, 19mm
Same as our 2075 series, for use with polished 19mm stirrer shafts or our line of Teflon sheathed stainless steel core stirrer shafts.
Item 2100 S-Interface-10mm
Due to the natural lubricating qualities of PTFE, no lubrication is needed. The 2100 consists of a stainless outer shell, a thick PTFE inner liner, and a stainless retainer for the stirrer shaft. The shell has a full length Standard Taper inner joint grinding at the base. The tight fitting inner liner has a thick flat flange on top that rests on the steel shell to hold the liner in place, and the bore of the liner is precisely formed for a precision fit with the stirrer shaft. The retainer sits on top of the liner and has an arrangement to tighten securely on the stirrer shaft, to prevent the shaft from dropping through the bearing and damaging the flask.
