For use with a ball and socket spherical joint. The adapter will allow for placement of a plain stem thermometer, gas inlet tube, or any type of tubing. Use of the compression PTFE saddle with a Silicon O-Ring creates a good seal and also allows for depth adjustment. Specify the ID needed when ordering. Replacement Saddle O-Rings are available
