Expanded PTFE Joint Sealant tape is 100% Virgin expanded PTFE. Available in sizes: 1/8″, 3/16″, 1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″, 5/8″, 3/4″ and 1″, extremely soft and pliable, making it an ideal material for gaskets and difficult sealing applications. Expanded PTFE Joint Sealant has compression ability in the 61-79% range (ASTM F-36) when pressure is applied with a creep factor of 40-45% as measured using ASTM standard F-38. It has a full pH Range of 0 to 14 (except for fluorine and molten alkali metals), and is fully compatible with petroleum products. The temperature range is -450 to 600oF, allowing use in a wide variety of environments.
